Great Guitarist

I would like to present my favorite guitarist, first is Michael Angelo Batio from the band Nitro also known as Speed Kill. I like him because his technic is unique even today there are no one can mimic his style perfectly.

Second is Paul Gilbert from the band Racer X, he is a genius one that playing classical songs with electric guitar.

Third is a wicked one his name onstage is Buckethead, don't ask me why just look at him you will gone speechless.

Not just playing guitar he still good at robot dance.

Fourth is John Petrucci from a progressive metal band name Dream Theater.

Last one is Alexi Laiho from a Finland melodic death metal band name Children of Bodom.

This is not all there are still plenty of them but if I going to present all of it maybe its take day.

Black Metal

This kind of metal is extremely not for a beginner, this genre is far beyond death metal.The pattern looks similar to death metal except vocals are more scream and shriek include raw recording. Most of bands usually come from Norway in term of Norwegian Black Metal (second wave early 1990s), they're Anti-Chris that's why their lyrics are about satanic and some mythology, nature,folklore and philosophy later. My favorite bands of black metal is a band name Burzum.

Burzum mean Darkness.

Varg Vikernes

Burzum is a one man band by Varg Vikernes. Formed in 1991 in Bergen, Norway, during  1992-1993 he recorded 4 albums, In 1994 he was arrested and imprisoned for the murder of his friend  Øystein "Euronymous" Aarseth the guitarist of black metal band name Mayhem and the arson of several churches. He was sentenced to 21 years in prison (max penalty of Norway), at that time he was 21 years old. My feeling towards him is just one word ''Awesome'' he really is a metal monster. \m/

Death Metal/Melodic Death Metal

I'm not recommend this genre to those who want to start listening to metal, because It's heavily distorted guitars, blast beat drumming and usually deep growling or scream vocals. The structure is base on thrash metal and early black metal, death metal emerged during the mid 1980s. Death metal is diversify and have a variety of sub-genres.

My favorite sub-genre is Melodic Death Metal It's a combination of New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) and death metal.

Groove Metal Band

From the previous post I really would like to present one of the most, the best band of groove metal that I like it very much. Although this band is not a pure groove metal some albums of them are speed metal or even death metal.

Lamb of God is an american heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia. They're formed in 1994 in the name of Burn the Priest and change to Lamb of God in 2000.

In 2010 they're come to Thailand to perform a live concert and of course I was there too, I even bought a VIP ticket to meet and greet them. but sadly all of pictures that I took from there all gone now, last thing that still left is the video that was filmed by me and I upload on youtube.

Groove Metal

Groove Metal is a combination of hard rock and dance music or hip-hop, about this genre I really like the band name Pantera. I can says they're the ideal of groove metal their masterpiece is Cowboy From Hell, Walk, Domination, Revolution Is My Name etc.

December 8, 2004 Dimebag Darrell was shot and killed while on stage during Damageplan performance at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio by one of his fan and the history of the band Pantera stop here.

Speed Metal

Speed Metal is originated in the late of 1970s-early1980s. The identity is extremely fast and abrasive, this genre is eventually evolved into thrash metal but Its sound more cleaner and short length.

The first band of speed metal and also one of my favorite band is Motorhead. They're formed in 1975 by bassist, singer and song writer Ian Fraser Kilmister known as his stage name Lemmy.

For this guy I really like him because his mustache is so awesome and also his attitude of being such as drinking and slept with many women.

Thrash Metal

From the previous post I'll continue with the sub-genre call Thrash Metal. Thrash Metal is one of my favorite sub-genre, Its start in the late of 1970s-early 1980s and become the mainstream in that era. The identity is usually fast tempo, agression song and  typically use fast percussive and low register guitar riffs overlaid with shredding style lead work. The most famous of this sub-genre is call the ''Big Four'' bands is Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax, my comment here is ''If you don't know these 4 bands, you are not real metalhead''

Heavy Metal

Do you know what is ''Heavy Metal''? Most of people think this kind of music is bad or agressive but for me It's not like that at all. I have fell to this genre immediately since highschool until now, after I study to this genre for a while I found that Its have plenty of sub-genre. All I want to say right now is I want to introduce some of my favorite sub-genre of heavy metal.

Heavy Metal is a rock music developed in 1960s to early 1970s roots of music is blue rock.The identity of heavy metal is a massive or distortion sound and got more guitar solos. My favorite band of heavy metal is Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.
